I tried so hard to get a picture of our robin feeding the baby that was on the ground in my garden...never did get it! Good pictures...I love those mouths on the babies. They open their mouths and their heads disappear! Cute birds, good pics!
Kathy, I've already started worrying about the time when the little guys will be learning to fly. Their nest is directly over our cement patio. I hope their parents are good flight instructors!
Adorable! And you have a front row seat! I have a nest of hose finches on my front porch, just eggs right now. I'm hoping they stick it out what with all the comings and goings at our front door!
It's Larry and his brother Darryl and his other brother Darryl.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo!

ReplyDeleteParsley, The birds are barn swallows.
I must say - those are great pictures. Much better to look at on your blog than under the eaves of my barn!
ReplyDeleteAre you sure they are eating? They look like they are singing to me!!!
ReplyDeleteWhen that third one showed up, the mama said I need a break. A very cute bird post. They seem to find ways to take care of their little ones.
ReplyDeleteBarn swallows are among my favorite birds; they are very graceful and eat mosquitoes, among their many charms. Thanks for these photos.
