When It's Cold Outside. . .

. . .what's your favorite thing to do?

Yesterday Smoke waited while I took the sheets fresh and warm from the dryer and tossed them on the bed. Then when I turned my back for just a second, he jumped right up and snuggled down.

  3. My favorite thing to do when it's cold outside is bake. LOL I really love to bake and cook when it's cold--I don't know why. That's when I try out new recipes and food combinations.

Our kitties like to jump in the towels when they're fresh from the dryer!

  4. Im with smoke...One of my favorite things in the world are fresh sheets...I really like when they are hung out to dry on the line. Mickey took mine down with the intention of moving it and now I dont have a line outside...and I miss it terribly...
I find it a luxury to just be on the couch with Bob and Marley and a cat or so and watch old movies...that is fun for me...and relaxing...

  6. Maxwell likes to snuggle down in my fresh from the dryer towels. It is a little hard to fold when you have to move a dog.
I like to bake new recipes when I get the chance to stay in when it is cold.

  7. On a cold wintry day I like to either knit or read. The only thing bad about living up here is that no matter how cold or how snowy life goes on here. Sometimes school is cancelled but only if the temps go below -30 or the visibility is zero. Snuggle up and stay warm.

  8. Kinda wondering what happened to you! Our kitty also gravitates to the warm clothes from the dryer. I like looking out the window and being thankful I am not out in it.

  9. If you ask me, there is nothing better than warm, clean sheets on a bed. I guess your dog and I have a lot in common! :0)

  11. Well now...I'm so glad to know that someone else has a doggie that dive bombs into their laundry. I pull it out from the warm dryer and place it on my couch (nice, huh) and if I don't get to it right away within about 15 seconds our 4lb Yorkie has burrowed her way into the middle.

    SWEET!

  12. Sweats, slippers, hot chocolate and good music! Sparky loves it when I wash her blankies and bring them up from the dryer. I throw them on top of her and she just stays there and doesn't come out!

  13. I just love Smoke! My kitty does that. I think one of my favorite things to do when it's cold outside is to nap in front of the fireplace.

  15. I love to cook when it's cold outside but I also kinda like to curl up in the warm sheets out of the dryer too.

I once grabbed up a bunch of wet sheets waitin' to be dried turning on the dryer I hear the most horrific blood curdling sound. I had scooped up the cat curled up in the wet sheets. Note: there were no cats harmed during writing this post.

God bless and have a terrifically blessed day!!!
