AD talked about building some deer feeders when we first moved to the country. He would mention it every so often but he never put his thoughts into actions.
Christmas came and he was thrilled with his wildlife camera. That kind of built a fire beneath him and he made a trip to Lowe's.
He came home with a few pieces of PVC pipe and a few connectors. When he got home he went straight to his shop and before long he had finished this feeder and
this one too.
It took the deer a few days to locate the feeders but they've found them now.
When the temperature warms up in a few days AD is going to move his camera closer to the feeders. I'm anxious to see the pictures we'll get!

ReplyDeleteNow that's an idea D would go for! I have to show him these pictures. Of course we don't live out in the country--yet--but if the time comes, he'll want to build it.
ReplyDeleteStay safe, warm, and toasty!

ReplyDeleteOh I can't wait to see the pictures. I love deer so much!! Nice job on that feeder. It looks like something my hubby would create. Awesome!
ReplyDeleteVery cool; the deer will be PVCrazy over it! My neighbor has a spotlight in his side year and he puts deer feed out at night. It's wonderful to watch them enjoying their food with their babies.
ReplyDeleteme too.. as for waiting that is. Sounds like you've brought life back into your hubs there. Nicely done. How's the cocoa stash holding out?
