Our Sweet Elliott

Four years ago this coming Sunday Elliott came into our lives. You can read the story here.

Back then he looked like this.

These pictures were taken the night he came to live with us.

We laughed because he almost looked like he was going to take flight in this photo.

AD did a little trim job so Elliott could see a little better.

This is Elliott yesterday after he came home from the groomer.

He is our 'king' dog and we think he's very handsome. We can't imagine life without him.

We're also sad to say that our groomer is closing her shop and yesterday was our final appointment with her. She is the only groomer our fur kids have ever been to and they will miss her.

  2. Just start inviting your groomer over for dinner once every six weeks and your furry kids will look fine!

  3. Good Morning Sweetie...
Isn't Elliott just the most precious baby ever? Oh I love his little face. He is a proud boy sitting there posing so beautifully for his picture.

Oh my don't you just hate it when the groomers move away? It is so hard on the critters. They get used to one groomer, and then suddenly they get a new handler. The next grooming may be very hard for Elliott.

My husband calls our little Boston Terrier "Face", and I call him "Handsome", but his name is Bruiser. The kids and grandkids all call him Bruiser but DH and I use our pet names for him. He loves it.

Thank you for sharing. Have a beautiful Friday. Country hugs...Sherry

  4. I was blog hopping and saw your cute little Elliott. Then, I got interested in the new fangled item below and had to read to see what it was going to turn out to be. Great idea. I enjoyed visiting with you.

  6. Elliott is so handsome, and looks like someone (you) takes mighty good care of him, spoiling, loving, etc. My fur baby is a large GS dog named Banjo and I sure do love and spoil him. I hope your groomer is able to recommend someone they trust to take over their fur clients.

  8. He looks very nice.

I always was too cheap to go to a groomer. I've always trimmed my Bichon myself.

You notice I have posted no pictures of my Bichon.

  12. Oh he is a handsome King! Buster was banned from Pet Smart last year. I told the groomer to muzzle him and she refused. He bit her. So he left the shop looking like a lion. His body was trimmed but not his shaggy head.

  18. What a handsome little man he is! I care more about my pet's groomer than my own; maybe because I don't look much better when I come back from the groomer!
