One of Life's Milestones

Last Friday evening G1 graduated from high school.

It seems like only yesterday that AD and I watched as Daughter (G1's mom) received her diploma.

Where did the time go?

The Class of 2010 chose this motto: "Laugh as much as you breathe and love as long as you live."

Wise words, I think.

Congratulations on this milestone in your life, G1! Your family is so very proud of you.

WE TOO, BY THE GRACE OF GOD ESCAPED THE STORMS BUT MY PRAYERS ARE WITH THE ONES WHO LOST LIFE AND HOME AND THEN THE SEVERE HAIL DAMAGE YESTERDAY. HIS BACK HAD SO MANY KNOTTS FROM THE BASE OF HIS NECK TO HIS WAIST..I KNOW HE IS FEELING IT TODAY.

  8. When my son graduated from high school, I cried. When my daughter walked across that stage, I laughed! But every year, as I watched seniors get their diplomas at the school where I taught, I got all misty-eyed. What a milestone! Congrats!

  10. Congratulations, G1!
Life is good! I know I can hardly stand the anticipation of seeing the way that my children's lives will turn out. I know that you feel the same for your grandchildren.
I have up and coming grandchildren, but I'm still caught up with watching my children. It'll come soon enough. *sniff*

  11. Congrats to G1! I too love the wise words the graduating class chose as their motto. I am amazed at the size of the class. (Remember I am in NJ!) I understand well the feeling of wondering where all the time went. It goes by too quickly (unless of course you're in a dentist chair!) What are G1s plans now?
