Five Favorite Photos Friday

Spring is finally here to stay, the grass is growing and the trees are again fully clothed in their green leaves. I've been taking quite a few photos of them.

We discovered this old bridge on our way to one of Mr. Walton's newest stores.

The rest of the pictures were taken within walking distance of the house.

I really like the look of barbed wire.

Can you tell?

Weed or flower, it doesn't matter. This is my favorite photo of the week.

It's supposed to rain here this weekend but as they say, "April showers bring May flowers."

Wishing you a wonderful weekend, regardless of the weather.

PS. We've got lots of things going on next week so if you don't see me around, you'll know why. I'll be back soon.

  1. Fun post. Of course I see these same 'wild' flowers at my home. The first ones always remind me of easter. This last flower photo I was told is a 'Williams' flower but that was by someone whose last name was Williams. Go figure..LOL

  8. Love that old bridge. Is is a train bridge? Looks like it.
I'm kind of partial to barbed wire myself. And it's a good thing too, we have enough of it here on the farm. I just don't like getting caught up in it.
    It's not a weed...it's a wild flower. Just a little touch of God's beauty.

  15. I first laid eyes on Oklahoma during the first week of May and I was stunned at how beautiful the state was; and it still is. Barbed wire is an interesting subject for photographs. It has been a while since I have had a chance to look at your blog. I have missed you!! I intend to be more regular now that the huge project is done.

  19. I also like that delicate blue flower by the barbed wire fence. It reminds me of two extremes - delicate flower/harsh barbed wire. Your area is much more greener than we are right now........Thanks for sharing.
