We discovered this old bridge on our way to one of Mr. Walton's newest stores.
The rest of the pictures were taken within walking distance of the house.
I really like the look of barbed wire.
Can you tell?
Weed or flower, it doesn't matter. This is my favorite photo of the week.
It's supposed to rain here this weekend but as they say, "April showers bring May flowers."
Wishing you a wonderful weekend, regardless of the weather.
PS. We've got lots of things going on next week so if you don't see me around, you'll know why. I'll be back soon.
Love the photos!
ReplyDeleteFun post. Of course I see these same 'wild' flowers at my home. The first ones always remind me of easter. This last flower photo I was told is a 'Williams' flower but that was by someone whose last name was Williams. Go figure..LOL
ReplyDeleteGreat Photos so green and I like barb wire to grew up with it. Isn't it wonderful that there is beauty everywhere if you just look.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos !
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend

Great photos. Love the little flowers.
ReplyDeleteI love your photos. Looks like home. :-)
ReplyDeleteThe barbed wire brings back the memories. Oklahoma grew up on barbed wire.
ReplyDeleteLove that old bridge. Is is a train bridge? Looks like it.
ReplyDeleteI'm kind of partial to barbed wire myself. And it's a good thing too, we have enough of it here on the farm. I just don't like getting caught up in it.
It's not a weed...it's a wild flower. Just a little touch of God's beauty.
You have your own little slice of spring paradise right there! Love the photos!!
ReplyDeleteToo pretty to be a weed! Happy Spring ~Natalie
ReplyDeleteMuch too pretty to be a weed! Happy Spring ~Natalie
ReplyDeleteI always love bridge pictures and barbed wire somehow makes me nostalgic....lots of it around Oklahoma when I grew up there and I'm sure there still is. Your pics were great.
ReplyDeleteYour pictures are lovely...just lovely
ReplyDeleteSo green and beautiful! What part of OKLA do you live?
ReplyDeleteI first laid eyes on Oklahoma during the first week of May and I was stunned at how beautiful the state was; and it still is. Barbed wire is an interesting subject for photographs. It has been a while since I have had a chance to look at your blog. I have missed you!! I intend to be more regular now that the huge project is done.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos! I wish it was green round here!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it beautiful when everything is so GREEN? I enjoy your pictures so much, having never been to Oklahoma.
ReplyDeleteOk......time to come back now. You are being missed.
ReplyDeleteI also like that delicate blue flower by the barbed wire fence. It reminds me of two extremes - delicate flower/harsh barbed wire. Your area is much more greener than we are right now........Thanks for sharing.

I'm with you. I like the last photo best; the beautiful wisp of wild flower beside the barbed wire. Lovely images.
