A Christmas Story You Don't Want to Miss

The post I had planned for today is going to have to wait.

Most mornings I begin my day by reading several blogs. The last few days have been pretty busy ones so I had to cut back on some of my reading time.

Yesterday I didn't have quite as much on my plate so I started at the top of my blog reading list and began reading down through it.

Near the top of my list (it's in alpha order) is Coal Creek Farm. Do you know April over at Coal Creek Farm? If not, you need to pay her a visit. April is one funny lady and her posts are a delight to read.

Anyway, her post yesterday was one she did last year. It was about John Henry Faulk's Christmas Story.

I don't remember having ever heard of John Henry Faulk before but in reading about him he made some appearances on Hee Haw so I probably saw him on that tv show and just didn't realize it until now.

If you'll follow the link above to Mr. Faulk's Chrismas Story you'll be able to read a bit about Mr. Faulk and listen to his Christmas story and/or read it.

That story just touched my heart this morning and I knew instead of the post I had planned, that I wanted to share the story with you instead.

I hope your heart will be warmed by this sweet, sweet story.
