Easter's on its way.











Bringing every girl and boy

baskets full of Easter joy,

Things to make your Easter bright and gay.













He's got jelly beans for Tommy,

Colored eggs for sister Sue,

There's an orchid for your Mommy

And an Easter bonnet, too.

Oh! here comes Peter Cottontail,

Hoppin' down the bunny trail,

Hippity hoppity,

Happy Easter day.

Around the House

This is Easter week and the bunnies are out at our house.

This one is ready to begin his Spring planting.



These two are looking forward to sweet carrots.

Mom Bunny is dreaming of all the wonderful dishes she'll cook using the carrots.

This basket holds two bunnies and wash clothes.

These little lambs just hang out by the hand towels.

The inscription on the angel says, ". . . As for me and my house, we will serve the Lord."

These eggs convey the greatest message of all -

"For God so loved the world . . .

. . . that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him . . .

. . . should not perish, but have everlasting life." John 3:16

In this season of flowers and bunnies and eggs and lambs, please remember that God's greatest gift to us was His one and only Son, Jesus, and the true meaning of Easter.

Hey! Spring is Here!

This little guy greeted me this morning as I walked through the kitchen.



My camera was handy so I grabbed it and started shooting away.



He must have liked posing for the camera because

I was able to snap about 70 photos.

Or maybe. . .

He was just trying to let me know that Spring has finally sprung for sure!

Our Sweet Elliott

Four years ago this coming Sunday Elliott came into our lives. You can read the story here.

Back then he looked like this.

These pictures were taken the night he came to live with us.


We laughed because he almost looked like he was going to take flight in this photo.


AD did a little trim job so Elliott could see a little better.

This is Elliott yesterday after he came home from the groomer.

He is our 'king' dog and we think he's very handsome. We can't imagine life without him.

We're also sad to say that our groomer is closing her shop and yesterday was our final appointment with her. She is the only groomer our fur kids have ever been to and they will miss her.
